As anyone who has read Malcolm Lowry’s nightmarish novel Under The Volcano will attest, mezcal is a drink not to be messed with. Leo’s is one of many versions of this cautionary tale written by the Californian Kevin ‘Blackie’ Farrell, or perhaps we should call him Kevin ‘Person of Colour’ Farrell.
