This is a less frenetic Jerry Lee Lewis.
The song was written by Hank Williams who recorded it on July 11, 1952, the day after his divorce from his first wife Audrey. It was released as the B-side to Settin’ the Woods on Fire but for one week it was at No 10 in the Most Played in C&W Juke Boxes chart.
Lewis released it in 1957 as the B-side of Great Balls of Fire, which reached No 2 in the States and No 1 in Britain. I think this is really good.

Among more unusual versions is this one by Bob Dylan and the musicians who would become the Band, recorded in 1967 and released on The Bootleg Series Vol. 11: The Basement Tapes Complete in 2014.
Another collectors’ item is this version by Keith Richards for the album 2001 Timeless – Tribute To Hank Williams.
Bob’s version is best, but I’m not so keen on Keith’s.
