This was written by Billy Page and performed by Dobie Gray on his 19464 album Dobie Gray Sings for ‘In’ Crowders That Go ‘Go-Go’ (good candidate for Worst Album Title of All Time). In 1965 it got to No 13 in the US and No 25 in Britain.
Bryan Ferry recorded a different but equally good version for his 1974 album Another Time, Another Place. Released asa single it reached No 13 In Britain.
