I always thought Cat Stevens (born Steven Demetre Georgiou, now known as Yusuf Islam) was underrated both as a singer and a song-writer.
This great track is from his 1967 debut album Matthew & Son, released when he was 19, which reached No 10 in the album charts.
It was recorded in a similar arrangement by David Garrick and released the same year but failed to make any charts except in the Netherlands, where it reached No 17.
