The Animals: I’m Crying

Square

I really did not like the Animals, but some people did. (Alan Price was great when he went solo.) This was the follow-up to the dreadful House of the Rising Sun (which I will not be covering because I am still sick of it after all these years). It was written by Eric Burdon and Price and was released in September 1964, reaching No 6 in Britain and No 19 in America.

This seems to be a live performance, or at least a different recording.

  1. House of the rising sun was their classic. I preferred” It’s my life” and “We’ve gotta get out of this place”.
I still have a few singles from those days.
What about a DC5 ? or Mannfred Mann or Spencer Davis
