Ronnie Spector: Don’t Worry Baby

Square

Last in the short series celebrating the legendary Ronnie Spector, who has died at 78.

This track was written by Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys and Roger Christian with the Ronettes in mind but it was turned down by Phil Spector. The Beach Boys released it in 1964, taking it to No 24 in America.

Ronnie Spector recorded it for her 1999 EP She Talks To Rainbows, produced by Joey Ramone and Daniel Rey.
