Square

The song is credited to Vincent and his manager Bill Davis but there is a story that the words were by Donald Graves and that Davis bought out his rights and credited himself. It was recorded by Gene Vincent and His Blue Caps and released in 1956 as Vincent’s first single. It went to No 5 in America and was his biggest hit there. It reached No 16 in Britain.
