Audience: Indian Summer

Square

The recent fine weather reminded me of this song, taken from the 1971 album The House on the Hill and released as a single to minor success. You will probably be aware that lead singer Howard Werth was once invited to replace the late Jim Morrison in the Doors but it didn’t work out. Wonder what his version of Riders on the Storm would have sounded like?

  1. How ironic that The Doors had earlier recorded a completely different, and much better song called Indian Summer on Morrison Hotel.
Not a patch on Jim Morrison.
