A great Goffin and King number which the Cookies, Little Eva’s backing group, took to No 17 in America in 1962.
The Beatles had a go at it on their 1963 debut album Please Please Me with George Harrison on solo vocals. It’s not as bad as I remembered, but this is a remastered version – I can’t find an original track.
