Sandy Posey: Single Girl

This was written by Martha Sharp, who wrote another of Posey’s hits Born a Woman (which I wrote about here https://am-records.com/2019/05/01/sandy-posey-nick-lowe-born-a-woman/ – I note that I used the spelling Sharpe but I think Sharp was her real name). Single Girl was released in 1966 and reached No 15 in Britain and No 12 in America.
