Old Shakey’s ode to his Pontiac hearse, Mort, which he drove from Toronto to LA, where he met Stephen Stills and formed Buffalo Springfield with him. This was the title track of a 1976 album by the Stills-Young band, on which all the Young songs were good and all the Stills songs were crap.
