The Marbles were cousins Graham Bonnet and Trevor Gordon, born in Skegness but Gordon grew up in Australia. Only One Woman, notable for Bonnet’s powerful vocals, was written for them by Barry, Maurice and Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees. It was released in August 1968 and reached No 5 in Britain. They had a minor hit later with The Walls Fell Down, also by the Bee Gees, and they disbanded in 1969.
