Jan and Dean: Surf City

The first surf song to be a No 1 hit in the US, this was part-written by Brian Wilson and given to Jan and Dean, who completed it, though only Jan Berry was credited. It was recorded in March 1963 and released in May. It reached No 26 in Britain.
