Do you like Neko Case Alan? She is a favourite of mine – I don’t know if you’d class her as alt-country or whatever, but I think she’s super. I’ve seen her in concert couple of times. She has a powerful voice for such a small lady, and always plays a tenor guitar (four strings). It’s hard to keep track of all her recordings as she’s a member of several groups. Here she is:
