Title track from Fairport’s tenth studio album, released in 1975. I saw them at Lancaster University when they toured on the back of it. Sandy was great, although her hair was done in a shocking mullet at the time.

That’s a fabulous song, and a very crystal clear sound courtesy of Glyn Johns; I don’t think Sandy’s voice was ever better reproduced. I remember when I first got the LP and being amazed by that song…then being disappointed by the rest! The only good songs on it are the ones Sandy sings – and they are exceedingly good.
