I don’t think this got the appreciation it deserved. It was written by Jeff Barry and Ellie Greenwich (the Ronettes’ Be My Baby and Baby, I Love You, and the Crystals’ Then He Kissed Me and Da Doo Ron Ron). In 1964 it reached No 14 in the US and No 20 in Britain.
